The Taubman Museum of Art is all in this year with Dickens of a Christmas.

The museum has extended opening hours on each of the Dickens three Friday nights.

It will also have a stage set up tonight near the museum's entrance on Salem Avenue.

Opera Roanoke will perform on the Taubman stage tonight at 7, followed by the Radford Percussion Ensemble at 7:45, then a performance by the Roanoke Children's Theater at 8:30.

Special family art events will take place inside the museum on each of the Dickens Friday nights.

Your children can watch vintage holiday cartoons on the night of December 14th inside the museum's Advance Auto Parts Auditorium.

On December 21st, the last night of Dickens of a Christmas, gospel singers will perform on the stairs in the museum's atrium.

The Taubman will be open from five to nine o'clock on each of the Dickens Friday nights.
