Sara Bremer is Santa’s helper at Just Dance Roanoke for this year’s Jingle Bell Jam, that will benefit the Arthritis foundation.
“We are expecting both men and women and we welcome any children who can hang, dance, and like to move,” Bremer said. “All of the music will be family friendly.”
There will certainly be plenty of festive fun.
“We are going to fuse in a little bit of our signature class, Just Dance, holiday songs and music that you would hear on the radio for sure,” Bremer said.
And while Santa is getting his moves down over at Just Dance Roanoke, the folks here at Lewis Gale are putting together all of the race packets. And of course, in each one goes some jingle bells to add to the holiday festivities.
Kim Novak is one of many volunteers that help with sorting and registration for Saturday’s Jingle Bell Run in downtown Roanoke.
Paula Mitchell has been organizing the run and says “we work pretty much every night the week of the event itself. We pack the packets together, we fold the shirts, we put it all together, and we put the shirts in the bags. We are trying to make sure we give our participants every level of service that we can because we really value their participation.”
Whether you are running, or jamming, Bremer says “if you are moving you are doing it right. Especially if you are doing it right for a good cause. And that is what we are doing tonight for the Arthritis Foundation."
