Axton Man Killed in Henry County Accident

Henry Co., VA - An Axton man was killed after he was hit by a car late Thursday night.
Police say a woman was driving north on Route 220 around 11:30 p.m. when Vernia Leo Hall, 46, walked out in front of her car and was hit.
He was taken to the hospital in Winston Salem and died a short time later.
No charges have been filed.
