RICHMOND, VA (WWBT) -

Traffic is backed up for miles on Interstate 95 south heading into downtown Richmond due to a crash.

Officials say a truck hit the Jersey wall near Lombardy Street (mile marker 77) and is blocking the left and center lanes of traffic. No one was injured in the crash. The accident is not expected to be clear until after 9:30 a.m.

Drivers are urged to avoid the area. You can exit on Chamberlayne Ave. (exit 83) and use Rte. 1 or Rte. 301 as a detour.
